We make Venture Technology investments in early stage startups. We commit competencies and resources to bring web and mobile services from idea to market.

 
HOW IT WORKS
To the entrepreneur it means that we serve as technological lead, in charge of architecture and technology. We take part in the overall commercial strategy, and help in drawing the game plan and sharpening the offering. And we manage the development roadmap, interface design and programming of the service. In short, we take on the CTO's responsibilities.

Additionally we facilitate office space, administration and a community of entrepreneurs and advisers.

OUR CORE BELIEFS

First, we fight complexity. Second, we prefer proven over new. We call it simple and black.

 

Simple means cutting to the bone. We believe in offering distilled functionality that can be communicated, comprehended and appreciated by users quickly.


Black means the safe choice. We value the certainty of proven technologies and components that do not add unnecessary risks or barriers to use.

 

Be part of it

Sortedam Ventures was founded by Michael and Simon. We were childhood friends and have been trusted business partners since the late 90s. Our first mutual startup let web programmers configure and use our Flash components on their own sites.

 
RESULTS OF REPETITION
Since then we have built an amazing number of services, applications, communities, and advertising campaigns for web and mobile. These have provided us with valuable hands on experience and insights into digital architecture, interface design and tech development.

Now we invest our competence and resources in new startups as Venture Technology.
